In the heart of downtown Carlisle’s historic district. The Shop highlights the fine artistry and craftsmanship of county artists, including paintings, fine jewelry, textiles, pottery, metalwork, wood carvings, clothing, and food items.

Library & Archives

Open year round by appointment. Mondays 3-7pm; Thursday and Friday 10-4pm; and 1st Saturday of the month 10am-2pm

Reserve a time to visit the Cumberland County Historical Society’s Library & Archive to guarantee a spot and to allow us to prepare for your visit. Hours available include Mondays from 3-7pm, Thursdays and Fridays from 10-4pm, and the first Saturday of the month from 10am-2pm.

Non-CCHS members will need to pay a $5.00 per person fee to use the Archives and Library, but patrons can also sign up for a membership here.
