Description

Givin Brothers Paper Mill at Papertown, now Mt. Holly Springs. Built in 1828 by Samuel and Robert Givin, the five story brick factory first produced cotton goods and carpet.  Later it was converted into a mill for the manufacture of paper.  It was used for this purpose until its destruction by fire in 1864. (RS-36).
