Small Business Saturday

Come support your local authors on Small Business Saturday, with a book signing by Randy Watts and Joan L. M. West! After a day of shopping on Black Friday, make sure you take time to visit History on High – The Shop to meet two talented authors and get a book signed by them. West, the author of the Carlisle Crime Case mysteries, will have her three books for sale at The Shop. Watts is the author of TO THE RESCUE Carlisle’s Union Fire Company 1789 to 2012, and will also be available for signings. Light refreshments will be served.
History on High is the museum shop for the Cumberland County Historical Society and also host to the Cumberland Valley Visitors Center. It has a variety of gifts, art and merchandise for all ages and tastes. History on High is located at 33 West High Street in Carlisle.
The Cumberland County Historical Society is an active history center with an award winning museum, library, photo archives, educational center and workshop, museum shop and historic Two Mile House. The Historical Society’s mission is to collect, preserve, interpret and promote research of Cumberland County history. Anyone interested in local history is invited to become a member.
