Tour of the Mt. Tabor AME Zion Church in Mt. Holly Springs for participants of the Cumberland Pathways Conference. Meet at CCHS.
In 2016, Greater Carlisle Heart & Soul Project interviewed the Gumby family about what they valued in their community and would like to see for the future. During this interview we learned about their family history and the existence of a c.1870 log cabin Church in Mount Holly Springs. Join us for a bus tour to learn more about the history of this amazing church and how one story led to community action in Greater Carlisle.
