Documentary Screening: The Rainbow Under the Red Tape

June 11 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

In connection with the special exhibit Freedom to Be: LGBTQ+ Journeys in the American Story, CCHS is hosting a screening of a short student documentary created by Ithaca College student Katelyn Smith, The Rainbow Under the Red Tape. (The documentary run time is 18:41.) This film dives into LGBTQ+ history and resilience and highlights the LGBT Center of Central PA History Project.

Following the screening, we will engage in a community discussion with the History Project’s Barry Loveland, who is featured in the film. During this program, attendees will be able to visit the special exhibit. The film screening will take place in Todd Hall at CCHS.

This program is free for CCHS members and students with a school ID. The price for non-members and non-students is $6/person. You can pay at the door.
