CCHS 2023 Annual Meeting

Cumberland County Historical Society Members:

You are invited to this year’s Cumberland County Historical Society Annual Members Meeting and Lecture to be held on Sunday October 22^nd at the Historical Society Campus in Carlisle, 21 North Pitt Street. 

We ask that you do RSVP for this event, it is FREE for all CCHS members, but our seating in Todd Hall is limited for the program.  If you are interested in staying for the members meeting and lecture, an RSVP is required. If you are just staying for refreshments, tours, and the members shopping experience, no RSVP is required. 

The Annual Meeting is an opportunity for members to experience all of the services that we provide to members and the community while also giving us the opportunity to inform members of future plans and programming. We look forward to hosting this annual event and hope that you can attend.

The Significance of the Cumberland Valley Railroad

Speaker: Dan Cupper, Railroad Historian & Editor of the Journal of Railroad History

Mr. Cupper will speak on the history and significance of the Cumberland Valley Railroad as part of our year of Railroad History programming.
