3/28 Update: CCHS will remain closed through April 30. All events through this time have been cancelled.
3/26 Update: CCHS will remain closed through April 6. All events through this time including the Two Mile House work day have been cancelled.
In light of recent developments regarding COVID-19, we wish to communicate that due to the Governor’s directive to close schools and public libraries, the Society (including the Museum, Archives and Library, and History on High – The Shop) will be closed to the public for the next two weeks, March 16-28. Pending any additional issues, the Society will reopen to the public on March 30. The Two Mile House work day will still be held on March 28.
This means that CCHS programs, events, and meetings are cancelled during this period. Announcements about events in early April will be made separately. Volunteers should not report to the Society during these two weeks. Any patrons who paid for events during this period
will receive a refund. Also, we are changing our rental cancellation policy for large events. If you need to cancel your reservation for an event we will refund any deposit funds you have paid.
The current plan is for the meeting of the Executive Committee on Thursday March 19 to still be held off site as originally planned. The Board meeting on March 24 will also be held.
