Visit the museum and their special exhibition Cost of Revolution: The Life and Death of an Irish Soldier.

The tour will leave Two Mile House at 9:00am. Participants will have time to explore Historic Philadelphia and have lunch on their own before touring the Museum. Dinner is arranged at the Black Powder Tavern in Valley Forge and includes salad, main, dessert, and soft drinks. Special exhibit description: Follow the untold story of Irish soldier and artist Richard St. George, whose personal trauma and untimely death provide a window into the entangled histories of the American Revolution of 1776 and the Irish Revolution of 1798.

 

9:00am Bus will depart from Two Mile House | 11:00 explore Philadelphia and lunch on your own | 1:30-4:30 Tour Museum| 4:45 return to bus and leave for dinner | 9:00pm return to Two Mile House

Cost: $120/ member; $130/ non-member. Price includes: bus transportation with tip for the driver, entry to the Museum of the American Revolution with audio guide, and a 3-course dinner at the Black Powder Tavern in Valley Forge.

Bus Trip Regulations:

2. No refunds will be made unless: the Historical Society cancels the trip due to insufficient registration or the bus company cancels the trip.
3. Please be prompt for departure times.
4. There is no reserved seating for the bus.
