Whiskey Rebellion Festival

As part of the 225th commemorations of Carlisle’s role in the Whiskey Rebellion, CCHS is partnering with regional organizations to bring the public a series of events that highlight 18th century life.

$5 Parking fee. Admission to the Festival is free. Pig Roast $20 (14 and older) / $10 (13 and younger)

Friday, October 4th – First Friday (Carlisle & Dillsburg)5:30, Carlisle

Welcome from President Washington, Old Cumberland Courthouse

6:00, Dill’s Tavern

Mr. & Mrs. Dill toast and welcome to President Washington

6:30, Dill’s Tavern, doors open for First Friday

Across the Pond

Saturday, October 5th – 18th century living history & reenactment , Two-Mile House

Music by Charlie Zahm throughout the day in the Corn Crib

Faire Wynds, 18th Circus, performances at 11:30, 1:30, 3:30

Brett Walker Leather demos, throughout the day

Dill’s Tavern Sour Mash demo, throughout the day

Officer’s Luncheon in Washington’s Tent, 2:00pm
