A DAY IN DELAWARE
Join us for a guided tour of the permanent collection of the newly renovated Delaware Art Museum in Wilmington, Delaware, whose works include John Sloan, Howard Pyle, British Pre-Raphaelite collection and American art 1757 – present. We’ll have lunch at Harry’s Seafood Grill, adjacent to the Riverwalk, on the Riverfront. Harry’s is recognized for its innovative cuisine and unsurpassed service. After lunch, we will visit the Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts. The Center features a sky-lit lobby, seven exhibition galleries and 30 working-artists’ studios. Registration does not imply endorsement. Policy The Society is in absolute charge of day and/or overnight trips. Nonmembers should be charged more than members. To make reservations, one-half of the total amount must be paid at the time of reservation. Day trips must be paid in full. The remainder is due two weeks before the date of departure. Cancellations will be accepted only up until two weeks before the date of departure. Only a death in the immediate family will result in a return of money after the cancellation date of two weeks prior to trip. The Society will not be responsible for injuries incurred on trips; nor shall said organization be responsible for any loss or damage to said member's or guest's personal property.
