The Cumberland County Historical Society is pleased to announce that the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission has made an award of $19,885 for the 2007-2008 General Operating Support for Official County Historical Societies. The funding will be used for general operating purposes. A condition of eligibility for the grant is that the historical society must be certified as the official county historical society by the local government.
