A typical visit to the Historical Society lasts about 1½ hours.   Once the bus arrives, the visiting group enters and is welcomed (about 15 minutes). For the next 45 minutes, a docent will guide your group through our award-winning museum featuring Cumberland County history.  Following that, visitors will want to take a half-hour on their own to visit changing exhibits or to go next door to our museum shop, History on High.

2011 group fees for bus groups of 15 or more are $5 per person.

Please note:

·         A two-week advance registration is required.

·         Tour fees are paid at the front desk upon arrival.

·         Checks are payable to CCHS.

·         No photography is allowed in the museum.

·         Food and drink are not allowed in the museum.

·         To reserve street parking, please call ahead.

·         Please call at least 24 hours ahead for cancellations.
